We had some fun times together in the time I worked for “The Growler” as you would call her. Your wonderful wife, Jocelyn. You once asked me what my faults were and I replied “Nothing, I’m perfect” you then called me “Miss Perfect”.
Fond memories of “The Rose Royce” and how you would power wash her off after hunting 🙈.
Our camping trip to The Three Counties Show when you were trying to sell tractors, or just an excuse to have a drink, get merry and call everyone either “Bruce” or “Sheila” in your best Aussie accent whilst serving food from the BBQ.
Also a memory that sticks with me was the day you came to tell me that you’d dropped a pallet of Turfloat on my car, my pride and joy at the time.
Top Dog Tom your little shadow.
You will always be the man that came to my wedding, casually dressed like you were off to the local for a pint and whilst everyone sat at their tables eating and chatting, you sat next to the bar watching the rugby on the tv we’d set up for the England v Wales game in World Cup (I think it was) in 2015.
Loved our little trips to the indian in Henley with the family 🥰
And forever grateful for you teaching me to drive a tractor and reverse a trailer.
Going to miss you, your tracky bottoms and beaming smile .
xxxxx
